Join the editorial team!

Thank you for your interest in becoming an Editor. We have just finished recruiting Editors to assist in the production of Volume 7 of the Yearbook, which will focus on the upcoming 2015-16 legal year and is scheduled for publication in December 2016.

Towards the end of this year, we will again be looking for Editors for Volume 8 of the Yearbook. Please watch this space. Editors will be appointed for a full year ending in Michaelmas term, although editorial duties may be performed remotely. Editorial duties will include: copy-editing and reviewing short and long articles, including checking the accuracy of citations and assisting with the overall publication of the Yearbook. The workload in any given week will vary according to editorial and event cycles; however, Editors can expect to work between approximately 1 and 6 hours per week. Applicants should also note that, as the UKSCY is an annual publication, Editors must commit to the UKSCY for a full calendar year until the Volume has been published. Most of the editorial work for the Yearbook will be done over the summer and leading up to Michaelmas term (after the university exam period!).

We will commence the Editorial recruitment process at the end of this year. If you are interested, you will be required to send your CV and a cover letter (one page) explaining any relevant experience and motivation to editors@ukscy.org.uk by the deadline.
